Huntsville Dining Guide
Southern dining rooms, smoked meats, craft breweries and casual favorites.
The center of Huntsville's dining scene is downtown, where a handful of restaurant groups have opened places around Courthouse Square and along Jefferson Street. These range from wine-focused dining rooms to an oyster bar and a grilled cheese shop that started as a food truck. In 2025, the first Michelin Guide to the American South recommended restaurants in Huntsville, a sign of how far the city's food has come.
Away from downtown, look to the west side's breweries at Campus 805, the food garden at Stovehouse, the newer restaurants of MidCity and the small Main Street in Madison. Every August, the city's Culinary Month and Restaurant Week offer special menus across the area.
