Huntsville Events and Festivals

Arts festivals in the park, summer concerts, a food month and holiday lights.

Most of Huntsville's signature events are run by Arts Huntsville, the botanical garden, the visitors bureau and Downtown Huntsville Inc., and many of them are free or low-cost. Big Spring Park is the main outdoor stage downtown, the Orion Amphitheater in MidCity books concerts from spring through fall, and the Von Braun Center hosts the symphony, touring shows and sports.

Spring and fall have the most festivals, when the weather is mild. Summer evenings bring free concerts in the park, and the holiday season is busy at the botanical garden, Lowe Mill and the Orion. Dates change every year, so confirm details with the organizer before you plan a trip around an event.
